FOR TESTROOM 2017/18

 

One of four companies to be selected for Testroom 2017/18, this competitive creative development opportunity from Puppet Animation Scotland, supported by the National Theatre of Scotland, is for Scottish-based artists of any discipline

 

Based in Rockvilla, Glasgow, and facilitated by leading puppeteer Gavin Glover, #Testroom offers the opportunity to explore initial creative ideas which aim to place, at their heart, elements of live puppet or object manipulation.

 

Artists will share their initial ideas at Manipulate Visual Theatre Festival 2018 at the Traverse Theatre and the Tron Theatre early next year.
 

Collision creates small scale touring work for young adult audiences. Through our work we encourage a dialogue and debate about what it is to be a young person in today’s society.

 

Through Testroom we shall begin development for our New Show (2018) -

 

CLINCH. "How long could you hold on before it was time to break?"

 

Through visual performance and puppetry we will examine the relationship and tensions that exist between Sarah, a teenage girl, her anxiety and the break down of her family's relationships.
