‘RUN’ - an interactive performance for young people aged 10 years and over.
Don’t run, don’t be seen, just stay in the dark and just breathe.
The fear of getting caught, the fear of what could be, the fear of letting everyone down… be brave.
Can’t go home, can’t ask for help... alone. Must remember to breathe I mean be brave!
…Run and hide… don’t look back… it will be all over soon.
Inspired by Private Thomas Highgait (the first British deserter) and set against the back drop of WWI, RUN draws into sharp focus the plight of the British soldiers who were sent to fight on the front line during WWI.
RUN seeks to understand why Private Jimmy Mitchell a young solider abandonded his regiment and what he must do to survive as he faces what seems like an impossible choice.
Intertwining thought provoking questions with powerful situations the audience decide the fate of the young solider at the heart of our production
